Join us in May for a restorative Yoga and Pilates Retreat designed to destress and reconnect. Find the power in moving slow and mindfully to enhance your physical and mental wellbeing. We’ve carefully curated a finely balanced schedule of daily Pilates and Yoga, healthy and delicious food, local walks, wild swimming, outdoor dining, plenty of relaxation time and of course lots of fun! All from the comfort of a truly idyllic Yorkshire Dales Farmhouse beautifully renovated in 2021 into the perfect country escape. A small intimate group of only 10 people to keep it cosy. This is the ideal long weekend to disconnect from busy life (or city life) and reconnect with nature and our beautiful surroundings. We don’t believe in restriction, so yes there will be alcohol available, as well as meat from our local farmer! What better way to wind down after a busy day with a glass of wine or two by the fire pit underneath the stars! We do believe in balance and can’t wait to welcome you on this getaway dedicated all to you!

THE PRACTICE

You can expect daily feel good dynamic Pilates classes led by Posie Staveley as well as reviving Yoga sessions led by Minnie Samengo-Turner. We will vary our classes both in length and style to suit all needs and will be offering a Meditation and Stretch session to leave you feeling completely relaxed.

Posie

A strong belief in both the physical and psychological benefits of Pilates led Posie to train and qualify as a teacher.Having always been a fitness enthusiast, Posie started practising Pilates on a daily basis as a result of a skiing accident, leaving her with debilitating back and knee injuries. It wasn’t until the day she started Pilates that things started to improve. Within weeks she couldn’t believe the difference it made not only to her symptoms but her overall mental and physical wellbeing and has consequently never felt stronger, fitter and able to throw her hand at any sport! Posie is absolutely passionate about the benefits of Pilates giving the perfect balance of toning, core strength and flexibility and truly believes she can help you to reach your goals.

Minnie

Having trained with some of the world’s leading instructors, Minnie uses her background in sport and extensive knowledge of movement and anatomy to help clients from all physical backgrounds. ‘Movement should be enjoyable and something you look forward to. Your escape from the stresses of the outside world and time simply for you’. With carefully curated playlists, seemless transitions and always welcomed with a smile, Minnie’s aim is to make you feel refreshed, energised, strong and calm. My goal is to ultimately to help you move, think and feel better.

By Train: Nearest station is Northallerton which is direct from London Kings Cross. Approx 2.5 hours journey.

ACCOMODATION

This characterful stone-built house features open fireplaces, period windows and beams, and a large farmhouse kitchen. The views from the south-facing walled garden and gazebo are all stunning.

  • £995 per person - Shared Occupancy with Ensuite bathroom and Large country bath tub with wonderful views!

  • £895 per person - Shared Occupancy - Large King Beds (which can be split) with shared bathrooms

Our retreats are designed for couples or friends but if you would like to come alone please e-mail me to discuss options

£450 deposit required when booking. The rest will be taken 4 weeks before the event.
